Pre- Apprenticeship Core Construction

The Pre-Apprenticeship Core Construction Program provides students with the foundational knowledge, safety training, and hands-on skills needed to begin a career in the construction and skilled trades industry. The program introduces participants to industry expectations, workplace professionalism, construction safety, basic tool usage, construction math, blueprint reading, and career pathways within the trades.

Students gain practical experience using hand and power tools, learn safe jobsite practices, develop communication and teamwork skills, and explore careers in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and other construction-related fields. The program is designed to prepare participants for entry-level employment, apprenticeship opportunities, and advanced trade-specific training.

Upon successful completion, students receive a Certificate of Completion demonstrating their readiness to enter the construction workforce and continue their education within the skilled trades.
